The event began with an introduction to Lashun Costor, James Berry, and Nicolas Savvides, the three alumni scholars who received the Alumni Project Award grant! The award is open to artists and designers who are alumni of the Parsons Scholars Program and grants up to $1,500 in support of new or ongoing projects. Recipient projects included garments for a theater production, gaming software for an educational game, and the building of a bus that functions as an educational platform for community programming. The event was hosted by Youth advocate Havannah Fisher and senior scholar John. It included team building games, competitions, art supply prizes, food, and lots of dancing! We enjoyed closing the year to the soul train with the PSP network and wish everyone a fruitful 2020!
