Our mentors, new first year students and more experienced alike gathered this past Saturday, September 26 for an afternoon to get energized for the upcoming fall Pre College Academy. The event was lead by Program Admin, Joelle with presentations from mentors Crystal, Naiky, and Elizabeth. The orientation reviewed critical mentor roles and responsibilities, tips on communication and working with faculty and scholars, and documenting the program. During a breakout session, mentors brainstormed potential programs and workshops for the fall.
