Tatiana Glover
Communication Design, Parsons The New School for Design, Freshman.
High School of Fashion Industries, Class of 2015.
Tatiana is graduate from the High School of Fashion Industries, and is currently in her freshman year in the BFA program at Parsons The New School. Although she’s graduated high school with certification in Fashion Design, Tatiana’s intends to major in Communication Design during her time at Parsons. Before her arrival, Tatiana engaged in many extracurricular activities after school, being an ambassador for her school’s alumni association raising college scholarships for graduating seniors. As a Parsons Scholar, she engaged in college level classes learning the basics of painting and drawing to printmaking and film. Tatiana’s vivacious personality played a role in being selected to attend Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher fashion workshop hosted at The White House back in October 2014.
As a long term goal, Tatiana wishes to use all her gained experiences during her years in the program and throughout high school in pursuit of being a mentor in the Parsons Scholars program and her career in the fields of event planning and public relations while freelancing as a stylist/blogger. Tatiana believes, “ anyone can have the skills to create but it takes drive and passion and that’s what I’m about.”
