Mentor Fellowship

Undergraduate interdisciplinary research fellowship

The Parsons Scholars Mentor Fellowship invites undergraduates to engage in interdisciplinary projects and hold a student worker position centered around equity, inclusion, and social justice.

What does a Mentor Fellow do?

Closely intertwined with our Parsons Scholars, Mentor Fellows provide an art and design college perspective to our high school community. The fellowship provides the opportunity to engage in self-guided research and explore professional development while pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Close mentorship model

Experience a leadership role through mentoring high school students enrolled in the Parsons Scholars Program.

Professional Development

Engage in biweekly seminars curated around young adult professional development and social justice.

Research Project

Design your own research project to combine your academic and creative interests with the support of an advisor.

Work Study

In addition to a research stipend, Mentor Fellows will work in the administrative office earning an hourly rate through a work study position.
