On Saturday, May 12, 2012, Parsons Scholars celebrated the opening of their Festival Exhibition! Many thanks to sophomore and junior scholars who volunteered (while seniors were in class) and faculty and staff who hung each piece in preparations for the show!
Senior scholars first presented the PSA’s they created with faculty Shola Ajayi, which were films educating teenagers about gun violence, created in response to their Senior Capstone Project. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session from peers and guests.
Family, friends and peers saw the selected works made by students, which were distributed throughout the 12th floor of the 6 East 16th street building, including a project submission dedicated to the Trayvon Martin case, seen below.
Congratulations to the Parsons Scholars, faculty and staff for the great work and a successful show!!!
