Through our partnership with a group of other organizations, called Art Future, the Parsons Scholars Program held an event called Portfolio Redefined on Saturday November 11. Our scholars were joined by students from our partner organizations to learn about building and refining their portfolios for college admissions. They heard from panels of college admissions professionals as well as young and emerging artists and designers on their paths to and through college. Students were then able to receive individualized critiques and feedback from college admissions officers on their portfolios. The Options Institute offered financial aid workshops open to parents and students on demystifying the process of applying for aid to attend college. PSP Mentors were on hand to help document student’s work.
