The Parsons Scholars Program provides youth from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to explore art & design in a college environment.
Accepted students receive college credit while preparing for the college admissions process at no cost to them. (Note: this is a pre-college scholarship, and not a college scholarship.) For more information, download our information sheet here.
The Parsons Scholars Program is a college access program for NYC public high school students who are passionate about pursuing higher education in art and design. Parsons Scholars dedicate their Saturdays and summers to studio coursework and workshops which expose them to a range of exciting art and design careers and majors.

Parsons School of Design is pleased to invite 10th graders who are interested in art & design to apply for an extraordinary pre-college scholarship opportunity. Applications for the 2017-18 recruiting season are now closed. Please check back in August 2018 for updates on how students who will be in 10th grade in Fall 2018 can apply.

The Sophomores The Sophomores started their afternoon with a presentation on time management and wellness. Advocates Nick and Kevin worked together to survey the class on their time management and offer tips to help them manage their time. During the presentation, Scholar: Daniel also offered personal tips that helps him with time management, like “prioritizing important homework and decide what to do next”. The Advocates and Sophomores shared a lot more ways to time management such as the Forest app, to do lists and routines. The Advocates also talked about personal wellness.
