The Parsons Scholars Program provides youth from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to explore art & design in a college environment.
Accepted students receive college credit while preparing for the college admissions process at no cost to them. (Note: this is a pre-college scholarship, and not a college scholarship.) For more information, download our information sheet here.
The Parsons Scholars Program is a college access program for NYC public high school students who are passionate about pursuing higher education in art and design. Parsons Scholars dedicate their Saturdays and summers to studio coursework and workshops which expose them to a range of exciting art and design careers and majors.

Following their first summer Academy experience, the Junior scholars got off to a great start this fall! Led by Youth Advocates Havanna Fisher and Kevin Cadena, and Mentors Dirm Luawo and Kadeem Lamorell, the scholars dove right into Academy classes ranging from Fashion Design to Architecture. They participated in afternoon workshops on college research and social justice movements in art, and attended various events, like the Cooper Hewitt Teen Design Fair , National Portfolio Day!
