The Parsons Scholars Program provides youth from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to explore art & design in a college environment.
Accepted students receive college credit while preparing for the college admissions process at no cost to them. (Note: this is a pre-college scholarship, and not a college scholarship.) For more information, download our information sheet here.
The Parsons Scholars Program is a college access program for NYC public high school students who are passionate about pursuing higher education in art and design. Parsons Scholars dedicate their Saturdays and summers to studio coursework and workshops which expose them to a range of exciting art and design careers and majors.

Parsons School of Design is pleased to invite 10th graders who are interested in art & design to apply for an extraordinary pre-college scholarship opportunity. Applications for the 2017-18 recruiting season are now closed. Please check back in August 2018 for updates on how students who will be in 10th grade in Fall 2018 can apply.

We are excited to welcome a new cohort of 24 students into our program, the new Sophomore Scholars! They started their Foundation classes with a joint class to get better acquainted with each other, and created collages to represent themselves on the outside, but also as they perceive themselves on the inside. They were warmly welcomed during lunch by the rest of the PSP family, and in the afternoon, Youth Advocates: Nick and Kevin took the Sophomores to the High Line to locate places around the area that were built with a specific purpose, but repurposed for a different use.
