The Parsons Scholars Program provides youth from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to explore art & design in a college environment.
Accepted students receive college credit while preparing for the college admissions process at no cost to them. (Note: this is a pre-college scholarship, and not a college scholarship.) For more information, download our information sheet here.
The Parsons Scholars Program is a college access program for NYC public high school students who are passionate about pursuing higher education in art and design. Parsons Scholars dedicate their Saturdays and summers to studio coursework and workshops which expose them to a range of exciting art and design careers and majors.

Senior scholars visited the Collins design studio in New York to learn more about the design company and what an internship or future career at Collins would look like. Yocasta Lachapelle, the Director of Talent at Collins, began the visit by sharing some of the design campaigns and strategies they have worked on for big brands such as Mailchimp, Spotify, Aldo, and Bose. The visit also included a studio tour where scholars got to see how the brand develops their projects, explore a fully equipped library, and view the layout of workspaces.
